Expertise

Four ways I help organisations move.

Project and programme leadership in SAP S/4HANA programmes and PMO set-up, providing structure without bureaucracy and leadership without dictating.

  • Lead PMO and sub-project leadership in multi-party programmes, aligning business, IT and implementation partners
  • Decision papers and reporting for C-level and steering committees, with risk-benefit assessments
  • Budget, time and scope controlling, combined with active risk and change management
  • KPI and OKR tracking that links project milestones to business outcomes

Energy & Utilities

Test management for a multi-utility S/4HANA Utilities programme

A large programme with around ten sub-projects, moving utilities onto SAP S/4HANA Utilities.

  • Introduced SAP Cloud ALM as the central test tool
  • Designed Jira / Cloud ALM workflows and the defect process
  • Ran user-story quality workshops with business and IT

Approach

Lead without dictating. Structure without bureaucracy.

  1. 01

    Understand

Context, people and real constraints first, before proposing any method.

  2. 02

    Structure

Turn complexity into a plan, clear decisions and reporting leadership can trust.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Steer the day-to-day, remove blockers, keep tech and project management in sync.

  4. 04

    Anchor

Hand over capabilities, not dependencies, so the change lasts.

About

Hi, I’m Milan.

Milan Kölling Managing Director, Amsterdam

I’ve spent years in international consulting as project lead, Lead-PMO and agile coach in IT transformation programmes, from telecom and retail to energy and water utilities.

Today my focus is project and programme leadership and test management in SAP S/4HANA programmes, especially SAP S/4HANA Utilities, combined with the leadership and change skills that make large programmes work. I founded Nimblecon to work closely with clients as an independent partner.

I’ve also been on the other side of the table: as founder and managing director of a franchise business in Amsterdam, I owned everything from P&L and hiring to suppliers and daily operations. It taught me what change feels like when it’s your own company carrying the risk.
