3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Hostinger International, Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits, in particular your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referrer URL, the browser type and version, and the operating system used.
This data is required to deliver the website technically and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of the website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the hosting provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Contacting us
You can contact us by email. The contact form on this website does not transmit or store any data: it only prepares an email draft, which you review and send yourself via your own email application. Article update requests work in the same way.
When you send us an email, we process the data you provide (such as your name, email address, company and the content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Our email service is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (Microsoft 365). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Microsoft in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Microsoft may also process data in third countries such as the USA; such transfers are based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We delete your data once it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
